Jacqueline Wilson releases sequel to popular book ‘Sleepovers’!

Throughout her career Jacqueline Wilson has released a vast amount of books, with many still as popular today as when they were released. One book that is still loved to this day by fans is ‘Sleepovers’.

This book was originally released back in 2001 and contained illustrations by Nick Sharratt who worked with the author on many of her projects. ‘Sleepovers’ is a story that focuses on the importance of friendship and how those that care for you will be there regardless of your circumstances. Now over 20 years later, Jacqueline Wilson has returned with a sequel that is titled ‘The Best Sleepover In The World’!

‘The Best Sleepover In The World’ has been published by Puffin books, like many of Jacqueline’s other works, although this story contains a new illustration style as it has been completed by Rachael Dean. This new book contains all of the original characters from ‘Sleepovers’ and follows former friends Daisy and Chloe as they go head to head to see who will have the best sleepover in the world.

Jacqueline Wilson readers, both young and old, have taken to social media since the release to say how much they love the sequel, with many stating that it was definitely worth the wait. Fans of the author will be able to hear her talk about ‘The Best Sleepover In The World’ as well as many of her other popular books, as she is set to make an appearance at a handful of festivals throughout the year.
