Damian McGinty joins new season of Dancing with the Stars!

Hot off the heels of releasing his latest album ‘Moments’, Damian McGinty has signed up for season 6 of RTE’s Dancing with the Stars.

The Derry born star rose to fame after co-winning season 1 of The Glee project which landed him with the role of Rory Flanagan in the parent TV show Glee.

Posting on social media, Damian shared the news that he would appearing in the new season which is set to air in January 2023. Speaking of the upcoming competition, the 30 year old had this to say ‘I have never felt a fear like this, but I love a challenge and this, by a mile is my biggest yet’.

To further celebrate his appearance, RTE One shared a ‘this or that’ with reporter James Patrice.

Damian is no stranger to putting on a stellar performance having previously toured as part of Irish group Celtic Thunder and more recently as a solo artist.

With his talent for singing and acting unquestionable, Damian is set to become a triple threat in the industry if he is crowned the winner of Dancing with the Stars.

Although the entertainer won’t be on our TV screens until next month, he has plenty in store for fans until then - this includes an online Christmas show (Damian’s Cozy Christmas Concert) on the 18th of December which you can get tickets for here.
